Our design

Based on the taboo inadequacy, we have designed EGO. A design that consists of a bulletin board, glass and an acoustic decoration.

The idea behind the design is that it should act as the user's personal book as the design functions like pages in a book. It's in the book, the positive thoughts hang, and you can see yourself.

Our inspiration

With the taboo, inadequacy, we want to focus on and express the feeling that many people struggle with on a daily basis. We want the individual to put herself in focus, take off the mask, accept herself and live more in the present.
The name EGO means “I” in latin. Ego has often been looked at in a negative way, and so has the ability to love yourself. Often we doubt ourselves and have a habit of talking badly to ourselves. We want to turn the page - literally and figuratively. Our design is a space where it is okay to love yourself and throw all your negative thoughts away.

For me, it's about having the desire to change something for the better and affect people positively in their daily life. A good furniture designer is curious and innovative. A person who cannot help asking questions or thinking about new solutions.

When open, a space is created for contemplation that connects the design and the user. The circle is only complete when the book is open.

The mirror is a symbol of the idea that we must get to know ourselves and dare to face ourselves. We must remember we are all good enough.

With the bulletin board, we want the individual to work with herself in the form of personal messages with a positive vibe. The bulletin board is also a symbol of one's self-development.

For me, furniture design is a way in which I can tell a story, and I want my designs to bring Danish furniture design to a new level. I love the whole process of making furniture - from the first sketch on paper to the final product. This is why I chose to study furniture design.
