We are both driven by the curiosity of how a garment can be worn in different ways. This is translated into a timeless and variable garment in the balanced mix between variability, materials selection and crafted manufacturing.

Our collection

This collection is inspired by the philosophy of only carrying the essentials, taken from Tibetan nomads. An important element is their multi-functionality/variability and multiple ways of wearing them. They have attachable and detachable pieces that change the silhouette within the same piece of garment. The user has the possibility of a basic garment, and by interacting with the extra piece, a different look is created. Multiple tailoring techniques have been applied - some of them with our own reinterpretation. Consuela is a celebration of slow fashion and crafts.

Inspiration

Veronica (pattern designer) finds inspiration in the understanding of different logics and perspectives, the different manifestations of emotions, how environments can shape them and the combination of feminine and masculine energies. Katerina (fashion designer) enjoys working with contrasts, achieved by use of sarcasm as a tool to lighten the seriousness of the chosen inspiration. A contrast that invites questioning, common elements in our designs are longevity and variability. We are both driven by the curiosity of how a garment can be worn in different ways. This is translated into a timeless and variable garment in the balanced mix between variability, materials selection and crafted manufacturing.

Our designs in 3 words

Longevity. Multi-functionality. Curiosity.

Why did you choose to be a Fashion Designer:

Katerina was unconsciously fulfilling her mother’s dream and there has always been a passion for creating crafted garments in her family.

Veronica already has a degree in fashion design, but chose to study pattern design as well in order to fully understand the construction of her designs.
