I see design as an outlet to express my perception of our reality while working between the abstract and the concrete. My aim is to create garments which are more than just aesthetically pleasing.

My collection

is called “A CLIMATE OF CHANGE”.

It is an effort to create a collection that challenges the conventional ready-to-wear collection by not being aimed at a single season, seasonal weather changes or the gender of the wearer. Instead it is defined by the values of the wearer such as transparency, authenticity and responsibility.

My inspiration

The collection represents the tension field between hope and despair. Despair over our impact on the planet, but at the same time hope; a hope ignited by a willingness to fight for radical change of environmental and social issues. A fight that is largely lead by the youth.

“What are our dreams worth if we destroy our reality while dreaming?”

As a part of the collection, an IG account was made @nocountry_ to show the process & thoughts about how it came into existence.

My VR fashion film

This film is made for VIA Design & Business' exhibition ERA360 where it's viewed through virtual reality headsets. That way you get the full experience of standing inside the designer’s unique universe with a 360-degree view of everything. Naturally, it will be a very different experience to watch it on your own device. Use the arrows on your computer or click and drag in order to "look around".
