Ark is an innovative idea for storage furniture, adapted to the modern family's need for storing small items.

Our design

We all know the situation where the neighbours or the in-laws drop by unexpectedly, and we immediately welcome them with the apology: "Sorry for the mess". We are embarrassed by our clutter because we believe that it signals lack of control over things. Our clutter or mess becomes an inner shame and a taboo that is rooted in the “perfection culture” we see in society.

We cannot alleviate the shame of clutter, but we can help people structure their mess. ARK is an innovative idea for storage furniture, adapted to the modern family's need for storing small items. In this way, ARK creates the opportunity to declutter and create space to "frame" and highlight the things that are important and which add a personal touch to our interior.

Creativity has always been part of our everyday life. Through this creativity, we want to create furniture designs that create awareness for people and focus on everyday challenges. We want to help people by creating furniture that addresses the needs of our everyday lives and that solve everyday challenges in a beautiful way.

Our inspiration

For us, it was important to find out what clutter is - and how others look at this. We found out that clutter affects people negatively in their everyday lives. They are stressed, unable to relax and suffer from concentration problems. It is the kitchen and the dining table which is full of paper, computers, Ipads, mobiles, keys and other small things that are the most messy.

So we were inspired by the everyday need to develop a storage furniture that creates a better structure and helps people declutter. A piece of furniture that can be tailored to the individual needs and create a personal interior design.
