My collection
My collection explores the idea of breaking the traditional understanding of feminine silhouettes, and instead create gender-neutral designs. The collection’s name “A beauty in a freedom of definition” shows the purpose of the collection; to play with the boundaries between the feminine and masculine wardrobe. I believe that when the fixed frames are eliminated, the exciting and interesting silhouettes can occur. Using ‘classic’ references and traditional craftsmanship, I have presented a modern way of bringing the tailoring and traditional design back to the runway.
My inspiration
My main inspiration is classic menswear. For me classic menswear represents craftsmanship, quality and thoughtful design solutions. Qualities that I, in my designs, want to transfer to my womenswear collection. I work carefully with the details in my designs in order to generate the finish as we see in menswear.
