Topics
Welding:
• Environment: § 26 (only partly about welding and grinding)
• Introduction to different welding methods, CO2, Electrode, Tig. and A-measuring
• Assignment: Welding with different materials and methods etc. (group work).
Building services:
• Information about different materials, used for building services, such as galvanized pipes and copper press fittings, cutting threads – manually and mechanically
• The joints of fittings and sealing of fittings with yarn and jointing compound, including the use of special machinery for press fittings
• Through workshop activities, the students mount heating and water on workstations in accordance to detail drawings.
• Evaluation: The advantages and the disadvantages of the different assemblies and materials
3D BIM modellering:
• Apply MagiCad software to design and plan building services, perform coalition control and subtract amounts of materials for ex. pricing.
